Privacy Policy — Emirates Peptides
Effective date: 1 October 2025

Who We Are
Emirates Peptides supplies research-use-only (RUO) materials to qualified institutions. This policy explains how we handle personal data.

1. Scope
This policy applies to visitors to our website and to our professional contacts, including prospective and current business customers, vendors, and service providers.

2. The Data We Collect
•Identity & contact: name, role, organization, business email/phone, business addresses.
•Transactional: orders, quotes, invoices, delivery details.
•Technical: IP address, device/browser information, pages viewed, and cookies (see Cookies below).
•Compliance/operations: records we reasonably need to verify institutional status and to prepare product documentation (e.g., SDS distribution logs).

3. How and Why We Use Personal Data
•To deliver our services: provide quotes, process orders, arrange delivery, and offer support.
•Business operations: maintain accurate records, secure our website and systems, and prevent fraud or misuse.
•Communications: respond to enquiries and (if you opt in) send product or service updates.
•Account management: verify that purchases are for legitimate research purposes.

4. Necessary cookies and disabled analytics
We currently use only cookies and browser storage necessary to operate and secure the website. These support the 21+ confirmation, language preference, account login, security, cart persistence and checkout. Non-essential browser analytics, advertising pixels, session replay and marketing tracking are disabled, so no optional-cookie consent banner is displayed. You can remove necessary cookies through your browser settings, but parts of the store may then stop working correctly.

4A. Operational records and optional personalization
When you use the cart, checkout, account, website chat or WhatsApp, we process the details you voluntarily provide and the transaction or support records needed to deliver the service. If you actively select “Personalize my research updates using the products I view and purchase” in the site footer, we also create a first-party record of product and article views, cart and checkout actions, and purchases so subscribed research emails can be made more relevant. This optional preference does not enable third-party advertising trackers and can be withdrawn at any time by clearing the same checkbox. Identifiable browsing records are retained for up to 365 days and remain covered by your access, correction and deletion rights.

4B. Consent-gated Meta advertising measurement
Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API are enabled only after you choose Advertisement consent through CookieYes. When enabled, Meta may receive page, product, cart, checkout and completed-purchase events, together with browser or click identifiers and hashed contact details where supported, to measure and attribute advertising performance. Declining Advertisement consent keeps Meta tracking held. Microsoft Clarity, Google Analytics, TikTok browser pixels, Omnisend browser tracking and comparable non-essential public trackers remain disabled.

5. Sharing Your Information
We share personal data only with trusted third parties that help us operate our business — such as payment processors, logistics partners, IT/cloud providers, and professional advisers. These parties are given access only to the information they need and are expected to protect it.

6. International Transfers
Because we use global service providers and shipping partners, your information may be processed in other countries. We take reasonable steps to safeguard personal data wherever it is processed.

7. Your Choices & Requests
Depending on your location, you may be able to request access to your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to certain uses. To make a request, contact info@emirates-peptides.com. We will respond and explain your options.

8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal data. For laboratory safety, our chemical products are accompanied by Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and handling/storage guidance. Review product documentation before use.

9. Data Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described above, including reasonable record-keeping and accounting periods.

10. Children
Our services are intended for professional and institutional use and are not directed to children.

11. Updates to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy with a new effective date.
